Eliana Dauer, or Ellie, is an Illustrator born in Columbus Ohio. She attended school at the Cleveland Institute of Art, majoring in Illustration. With her particular focus in concept art, she tends to specialize in character design and finds it to be one of her strong suites. She loves to create humanoid hybrid characters. She particularly enjoys taking the characters she designs and creates splash art illustrations with them. Ellie enjoys working with a wide variety of color palettes but particularly enjoys bright and vibrant colors and working with unnatural skin tones on figures. Her work tends to work with textured lines and utilizing her initial sketches into the final piece. She also enjoys delving into printing and enjoys bringing her ability to work with lines into the medium. She particularly enjoys Intaglio print, but also works with different forms of relief printing and is working towards getting her own at-home presses to work with and manufacture prints. Ellie continues to create and delve into more artistic endeavors whenever she gets the chance, she hopes to work for a company in visual development for video games and other forms of storytelling. She also plans to go into being an independent freelance artist with a shop to produce products with surface design through print.
